OpenStack San Diego 2012 Keynote

Okay, granted this is a long video (at 37 minutes), but this one is worth your time. Take a little time out of your day to check it out, or just chuck it up in a window and keep checking your e-mail while you watch it.

This clip is from the OpenStack summit. It’s the Keynote presentation given by Racker Troy Toman explaining just how far Rackspace on OpenStack has come. This is the heart of the cool work we do – changing the way people consume computing in revolutionary ways. Would you expect anything less from the company that opened up the cloud for everyone?

This is powerful stuff: a great history lesson on how far we’ve come and what’s next. This degree of candid, transparent insight into our core business is unique to Rackspace. Check out the video and let us know what you think.

  1. Great stuff, now, what education and experience do I need to join Rackspace?

I guess Rackspace only hire experienced people and not recent college grads?
