And the battle rolls forward!
I’d say something halfway witty in this space, but, quite frankly, it’s Friday and I’m exhausted. So, instead, I’ll explain what I wore and leave it at that J
Day 30: This marks my last “owned” Rackspace T-shirt and hails from our Greenspace Initiative. You may notice a slightly different feel to Day 30’s picture – yes, it’s my favorite chair at home. Monday I worked remotely.
Day 31: There isn’t much to this beauty. It’s grey and black with comfort all over! I will have to give credit to the shirt donors from now on. This lovely contribution comes from Pancho Davis, one of our HR Business Partners and long time Racker. Getting this T-shirt from him was harder than getting gold out of Fort Knox. Thanks Pancho!
Day 32: A blast from the past, courtesy of Nick Daines out of our Email & Apps group. This is a vintage 2006 Boot Camp shirt. In the background, you will see our “Analytical” room. This is one of our various interview rooms. If you apply, you may just find yourself next to Einstein – feel free to stick out your tongue.
Day 33: “GET A JOB” – hopefully in one of the many openings we have here at Rackspace. Formerly known as MailTrust (aka Webmail), this shirt was used by Recruiting for our Email & Apps group.
You might have also noticed that there were only 4 shirts this week. I had a day of vacation and although I sometimes wear my Rackspace T-shirt on my day off, it didn’t happen this week.
If you missed the previous weeks, check them out here.
Over and out.
Phil White joined Rackspace in April of 2006 as a member of the Finance Team. Since that time, Phil has supported a number of our internal groups. In 2007, Phil moved to the Compensation & Benefits group and since that time has dedicated the majority of his efforts to helping keep Rackspace’s culture unique and special.
In his spare time, Phil enjoys mountain biking, pick-up basketball and spending time with his family (three boys and a lovely wife!).
