I have to admit – I am surprised. When this started over 5 months ago, I did not expect to still be wearing Rackspace T-shirts in the middle of October. And this is a big week – we reach the “hecto-shirt.”
There are all kinds of great things denoted by 100:
- The number of years in a century
- The number of yards in an American Football Field
- The record number of points scored in one NBA game by a single player
- The HTTP status code indicating that the client should continue with its request
- The number of tiles in a standard scrabble set
And obviously
- The number of different Rackspace T-shirts that I wore in my T-shirt challenge.
Alas, all things must come to an end.
That’s right, I am ending with T-shirt #100. It has been a great trip down memory lane and hopefully you have glimpsed deeper into the elements of the culture here at Rackspace.
I have been a Racker for 4 ½ years and I am better for it. We have been fortunate to enjoy success, but we don’t take it for granted. We recognize that Fanatical Support® powered by engaged Rackers is our secret sauce and we have to protect it and improve it. So, if you are someone that will volunteer your best for our customers every day, we have a place for you.
