At Rackspace, we’re proud of the spaces we call home. And while each of our offices has something rad and unique, nothing beats the sheer scale of our home in San Antonio, Texas.
Our friends over at Laughing Squid just put up a great post about how you can now virtually tour our HQ in Texas, lovingly dubbed the Castle. You can check out the write up and cruise around the Castle right here.
Poke around, there’s lots to see: the World’s Largest World Search (Guinness Certified, no less), a Racker Art Gallery which we’ve written about before and lots of Rackers busy delivering up some Fanatical Support on the Open Cloud.
It’s always a good day at the Castle.

Drew, I have to say that after looking over the website and reading the responses people post from both within and outside the company I am impressed!! Having built my own company from scratch and managing it for over 5 years, I took a well earned 9 month vacation in Belize South America. I am back stateside now and have moved to San Antonio to be closer to my family. I am considering what to do with my life now that I’ve sold off the computer business. I sent in a few apps electronically, but what does a potential Racker have to do to get noticed with so much prospective talent applying all the time? It’s hard to stand out on an electronic resume or job app when your expertise is entrepreneurial customer service innovation to the fluid moments in every day life and the ever changing face of technology and how to help customers apply it to every day life. I need to find something to do that can challenge my mind, touch my heart and fill my soul at the end of the day. I’m hoping that will be my definition of what a Racker is: Fulfilled.
Send me an email if you think you can use a highly motivated, customer service oriented, tech savvy woman who loves to not only think outside the box but also to toss some blankets, pillows and colored markers in it for the kids to make a castle out of!!
