Have you ever seen the movie Office Space? If you have, then you know the infamous scene where the three Initech employees take their frustration out on an old company printer that cause them constant grief on a daily basis.

Rackers love this movie simply because it shows us what our lives COULD be like if we worked in any other company. Luckily we work at THE RACK where we can share our senses of humor and truly embrace them. Yesterday, the Email and Apps team celebrated the launch of our new Archiving environment… and in true Rackspace fashion, we celebrated with a party!

We had a bean bag toss and games for everyone to play while some enjoyed Smokey Joe’s BBQ and a brewski of Dos XX.  The food was delicious and we devoured it as we listened in to the speeches from our fellow Rackers regarding their excitement for this new launch.  Then came grand finale!

The highlight of the launch party was when we brought out one of the old servers from the old archiving environment and went to town on it “Office Space” style!
