The excitement and momentum is building as we plan for our Meet & Geek event after RubyConf on November 12th in New Orleans, LA!
RubyConf is the official International Ruby Conference. RubyConf provides an annual venue for the growing Ruby community to meet face to face.
The Rackspace Cloud is a “Silver” sponsor for the conference and our Talent Acquisition team is partnering with Rackspace Cloud Developers to put together a Meet & Geek event in which developers attending the conference can come relax after their day at RubyConf.
What does a Meet & Geek event entail?
Rackspace will provide free food, drinks and the opportunity to chat and network with other Ruby developers in a casual setting.
We will have some Rackspace developers including Aaron Lee and Curtis Carter as well as Director of Software Development Troy Toman on hand to talk about the Ruby based projects Rackspace is working on.

Cyndi joined Rackspace in 2008 as a Recruiting Coordinator. Since then, Cyndi has been promoted to the position of Technical Recruiter. She recruits for roles ranging from Storage Engineers to Java Developers.
Cyndi received her degree in Business Management from Texas State University in 2007. During her time at TX State, she became the President of her SHRM Chapter and was a member of the Community Service Sorority, Chi Beta Delta.
