We hear this kind of thing all the time, but it never gets old.
Today, Business Insider released their list of the 25 Best Tech Companies to Work For in 2012, with help from Glassdoor. Just to clarify, Glassdoor collects unmoderated feedback from companies all over the world and lets the employees at those companies determine whether or not they’re good to work for. Companies themselves have no say over what gets said or what kind of a rating they receive.
With that in mind, we’re pleased to announce that Rackspace has beat out the likes of Microsoft, Intel, Adobe, and Citrix to be listed as the #8 Best Company to Work For in 2012.
This is huge news, and just goes to confirm all the things Rackspace stands for: taking great care of the best and brightest people so that they can provide Fanatical Support in the Open Cloud. The way one Racker put it on Glassdoor:
“The culture is unmatched. You can’t beat the Rackspace culture, and for the most part they live up to their core values. The Rackers are really what makes Rackspace a great place to work, and the CEO allows for that organic process to take place. On-site dodgeball tournaments, water slides, company parties, you name it.”
We’ll keep telling our story here, so keep checking back for new stories of life in the Rack. In the meantime, we’re not resting on our laurels: there are servers to build, Clouds to deploy, and Customers’ days to make.Category: Core Values Tags: Best Places To Work, Cool Work Environment, Core Values, Fun at Rackspace, Life at Rackspace, Rackspace, Working at Rackspace
