Wayne Roberts

Wayne Roberts currently serves as Senior Vice President and co-GM of the Hybrid Hosting Business Unit. Hybrid Hosting is Rackspace's core business unit and serves customers who consume dedicated and/or cloud hosting products. The Hybrid Business Unit enjoys industry leading growth rates and sells and supports the full portfolio of Rackspace products.

Previously, Wayne served as Senior Vice President of Global Human Resources at Rackspace Hosting. In that role, he was responsible for the full life cycle HR function including Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Employee (Racker) Relations, Rackspace University and Compensation and Benefits. Wayne was initially hired as Vice President of Infrastructure Services at Rackspace.

Wayne came to Rackspace after serving seven years with Dell, Inc. as the Director of Professional Services, where he helped build and manage a U.S. field organization of over 300 consulting professionals to deliver infrastructure consulting solutions to Dell customers. Prior to Dell, he was a senior leader in Accenture, Ltd.'s Human Services practice from April 1994 to July 2000. From January 1987 until re-joining Accenture, Ltd. in April 1994, Wayne held various leadership positions in Trammell Crow Company and Accenture, Ltd.

Wayne is a Fightin' Texas Aggie through and through, with a BBA in Business Analysis and Research and an MBA in Finance, both from Texas A&M. He has been married to his high school sweetheart for over 22 years and they have two children. Wayne enjoys spending quality time with his family, playing golf, supporting all things A&M, traveling and studying about 19th century history of the American West - from Lewis & Clark to the Wounded Knee Massacre.
