Wayne works for Rackspace Cloud Engineering as an OpenStack Developer Advocate. Wayne graduated from the University of Oklahoma (Boomer Sooner!) with degrees in both Information Systems and Economics
Wayne started his journey with Rackspace in 2009 joining as a Linux Systems Administrator in the Intensive Support group. Over the years, Wayne has worked in support, engineering, and architectural roles across many different Rackspace organizations and has most recently devoted his work life to OpenStack. You can find Wayne today working on cloud reference architectures, cranking out sample code, and working towards making OpenStack the best cloud platform in the world!
In his spare time, Wayne enjoys playing Words with Friends, golfing, and visiting new places.
