Tweeks (Thomas Weeks) holds a BS-EET/Telecom degree from Texas A&M, is one of the founding Rackers from 1999, and a big Open Source/Linux advocate. He started as one of the first three Support techs at Rackspace in 1999, created the Technical training department (pre RackU), has worked as a product Engineer, helped launch sister company Server Beach, and more recently helped Rackspace Cloud with tracking uptime statistics and heading up problem analysis/root cause efforts.
In his FOSS/community-life he has been the president of the X-otic Computer Systems of San Antonio (XCSSA.ORG) from 1996-2010, has authored several books and magazines, and regularly lectures on Linux and Open Source technologies for IEEE and other technology groups.
