Samuel Toriel comes from Orlando, FL after graduating with a BS in Information Technology and moving to Blacksburg, VA to be a part of Rackspace. He is a software developer with a passion for web technologies and an advocate for building tech communities. His current role is working on the next generation cloud control panel which focuses on many front-end web technologies.

Keeping up to date with technology today requires a constant amount of learning, and the best way to do that is by learning with your community. Having experienced firsthand the opportunities of being in different tech communities, Sam has a desire to bring that here to Blacksburg entrepreneurs, developers, designers, and students.
