Ralynn began her Rackspace career on Halloween in 2011 as a technical recruiter after moving to San Antonio from small town Ohio with her husband, Jeremy Brown, also a Racker. She previously worked as a Recruiter, Client Relationship Manager and a Marketing Communication & Conference Specialist with an RPO company. She was also working as an adjunct instructor teaching college writing and communications courses in the evenings. Ralynn completed her Bachelor’s degree in English, General Writing at The University of Findlay in May of 2008 and her Master’s degree in English, Rhetoric and Composition from Old Dominion University in December of 2009. She plans to one day pursue a Ph.D, though she has not yet settled on a field of study.
In her spare time, Ralynn loves attending activities and events that include music, as she has played snare drum since she was 10 and earned multiple scholarships for her music passion during her college career. As a self-professed English nerd, she spends many hours reading young adult literature series and is excited to spend weekends basked in the Texas sunshine while reading in her newly purchased hammock. She also loves to travel and has been to over 33 states, the Dominican Republic and Canada, a list which she hopes continues to grow.
